Common weaponry is ineffective against the demons. Heroes don’t use M-16s or AK-47s to fight the forces of Hell, but instead use exotic super-science weapons like the Arc Lasher or the HARP rifle. As opposed to bullets, projectile weapons fire sharpened spikes made from Palladium that have been ionized with holy water. Even more mundane weapons such as Flame Throwers use alchemical solutions – such as the long forgotten Greek Fire – as opposed to simple napalm. Energy weapons use the works of Tesla as a basis from which to generate electrical charges, unleash streams of intensified light.

Designed to deliver a massive, timed explosive, the Blaze Pistol is a fusion of ancient formula, careful craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. Resembling a small handheld crossbow, the tip of the Blaze Pistol's arrow-like projectile is forged from Palladium, allowing it to anchor itself in the thickest demon hide. The shaft of the bolt is filled with alchemical Greek Fire and is made to literally degenerate upon detonation, eventually delivering the widest and deadliest blast possible to unsuspecting demons who thought the impact alone was all they had to worry about. The results are spectacular and well worth the wait.

By unleashing a concentrated stream of Greek Fire, this small and highly portable weapon can quickly ignite combustable material or enemies. The attack of the Firestarter is concentrated so while it can only be employed against a single foe at a time, the likelihood of the target becoming superheated to the point of explosive combustion is high.

 

 

Grappler tab Grappler

Designed as a companion sidearm for the Templar, the Grappler does just what its name implies. Firing out tether of braided Palladium, the device securely latches onto its target and draws it quickly into melee range. This is a particularly useful item against demons that attack from the skies as it can instantly negate their greatest tactical advantage.

 

 

 

Grenadier tab Grenadier

This weapon infuses ancient myth into a highly-modified grenade launcher. By utilizing rounds filled with the long-forgotten alchemical solution known as "Greek Fire", the Grenadier is well suited to burn their unholy targets to the ground. In practical terms, the weapon lobs grenades that combust into a fiery splash and fill the targeted area with extremely hot, long-burning fire that is strangely resistant to the effects of water and chemical extinguishers.

Named after the famous 17th and 18th century British siege/assault troops that gained a reputation of being courageous and fearsome soldiers, the Grenadier is a tactical support weapon that is commonly employed by the Templar. While other types of ammunition have been created, the Holy Fire round is standard issue.

 

 

 

Plagueblaster tab Plagueblaster

A bizarre invention that looks more like a mad scientist's portable lab than a weapon. The Plagueblaster has an abundance of ways it can be modified, further lending to its obviously experimental nature. The rapid fire bursts of highly toxic, explosive projectiles make it a deadly experiment indeed.

 

 

 

 

Rebounder tab Rebounder

As a demonic creation, the inner workings of this weapon remain a mystery. The short, swift blasts that the weapon fires are part energy, part physical in nature and have a peculiar elasticity to them. Controlling the weapon is also somewhat difficult which results is a wild firing pattern whose shots bounce and ricochet before fading into the netherworld from whence they came.

 

 

 

Scorcher tab Scorcher

The Scorcher uses the alchemical elements known as Greek Fire to destroy its target with spectacular effect. Designed as a short-range support weapon, it is commonly used in conjunction with a melee weapon.

 

 

 

Shockwave tab Shockwave

The Shockwave represents another ingenious use of the HARP technology. Emitting an electrically charged sonic wave that focuses the sonic patterns of the weapon, this device both damages and stuns any targets in its wake. The single-click, radius burst effect of the Shockwave that is centered on the user makes this an extremely simple mechanism to operate. The one drawback to the weapon is the relatively small (fifteen to twenty feet) radius of effect.

 

 

 

Spike Bolter tab Spike Bolter

The six high-speed rotating barrels afford the Spike bolter a ridiculously high rate of fire which more than makes up for its wide projectile spread. Designed to deliver a massive amount of sharpened Palladium needle-like bullets, the velocity drives the tiny missiles through the thickest of demon hide, much as a toothpick can blast a hole through a telephone pole.

 

 

 

Vulcan Bolter tab Vulcan Bolter

Max mod slots: 3 fuel

The Vulcan personal defense sidearm is one of the advanced military weapons used in the last days of the invasion. While surprisingly effective against smaller demons, its deployment to battlefield personnel was a case of "too-little too-late". While man's most advanced technology proved incapable of stopping the demons, the Vulcan Bolter is highly useful and deadly weapon in the hands of a well-trained adventurer.
