Pre-order from gamestop.com?

I decided to pre-order hellgate about 24 hours ago online from gamestop. I am a bit confused, are they suppose to send a key right away? And then we use the key and wait for the "go ahead" from flagship...Or do they send the key when we are eligible to be in the beta? Just a bit concerned that some report getting their key in a matter of a few hours, and other reports of some stores/sites not giving keys out at all.

If I remember correctly GameStop sends their Keys out every Thursday (and every 24 to 48 hours in the case of HG:L if my memory serves right).
Any way once you get your key from them you'll have to redeem it on hellgatelondon.com and wait again until you're let in, that I know for sure.

I would suggest you order from GoGamer.com instead. I decided to do that, and have never been happier. Ordered last night, and I received my key in 30 minutes! Talk about fast service!!

Too bad they don't send internationally, that made me to go EBGames (they haven't send my key yet, but it's only been 18 hours since I ordered).

I just got off the phone with ebgames/gamespot. Jacob told me that the keys are being received from the distributor and are generated after the order is placed in their system He told me I should have my key today, but it could be a few days until I receive it. I ordered yesterday and he was kind enough to check and see if he could get my key for me or see if there was any available he could assign to me. There was not on either count. So I am waiting until today at best or Monday at worst.

He told me there are so many preorders for this game that they are having trouble keeping up.

So, I emailed GoGamer to see what kind of turn around they can offer and will wait until I hear back from them before I decide to cancel with EB.

GoGamer is sending keys out once a day, sometimes twice a day, and I suspect Jason of perhaps even sending more than that. I waited all of 30 minutes between placing my order and receiving my key yesterday.

You can pre-order from EBgames to europe??

I preordered from EB Games and got the e-mail about 20 hours later. Now it's just the waiting for the account to be activated game.

Well, I woke up today and decided to try gogamer, surprisingly got my key from them already. After seeing the effort Jason from gogamer.com has put into helping out this community I'm glad I did, now to cancel my gamestop order.
