Any chance you can list the skills and what they do? As well as an example of how more points benefits? Alot to ask but yeah that's what i'm interested in.

Each time you do damage you have a chance to produce a secondary effect based on teh secondary effect rating on the weapon. Vanilla like fire->burning(5% health or some crazy dot that doesn't last long) and neat ones like phantasm -> shifted/planarwarped/uh uh uh COOL PURPLE EFFECT(2x damage). okay! So grenades aren't meant to do damage so much(though as before level 10 they did do DAMAGE heh hehheheheeh) but rather cause the secondary effects. When you put points into a grenade skill it ups the value for causing the secondary effect more than damage.(grenades are on a global cool down with each other, so no spamming). They also don't cause your weapons firing delay to reset so you could have a HUNKER of a weapon(like Tyler's pistol<a huge rocket rifle>) to become a spammer of death. They may change that xD. But yeah pistols don't slow you down at all and happen fast. All skill effects(like damage) naturally go up when you level as well. The grenade skills are my favorite ones as no other MMO or even FPS makes them feel really right except HGL. (this is why I prefered 2handed weapons) I'd bind left click to fire weapon and right click to the grenade of choice as their cooldown was rather fast. It let me make the most out of any situation with an accurate one person at a time gun and nice AOE skill for CC. Also it made for the ultimate panic button when you throw it in the monster's face as its on you. ALSO STANCES! I love'd me some stances for hunters. You could get two different stance skills, tactical stance(crouch) and sniper stance(zooom+crouch). Both of which obviously have their advantages and disadvantages. These two skills also had passive skills that buffed them or made them do more. The Marksman also got a sweet skill we'll call Rapid fire which essentially fired three fast bursts of a weapon... great for those long delay weapons when you just absolutely gotta kill everything in the room. next ITS OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!

can you switch the view to a third person view ? (accordingly to the video, yes...)
is there an attribute which improve his damage ? (templar is about strengh and cabalist is about magic, what about the hunter) is there really a difference in gamplay between a marksman and a templar with guns ? I mean... reduced hit box or something ? does it feel like a FPS ? (even if HGL isn't a FPS) the marksman is about ranged damage, does he have some skills to deal some melee damage without relying on bots/drones ? (edit: I've just read your previous post about the grenade does he have some kind of protection like the templar shield ? |
