So, I've got that glitch where in the randomization of the area, it's been blackened. Problem is, it's been blackened completely, and a quest is involved in this area (Provide a sample of flesh or something like that for Temple Station).
Since everything is glitched, I'm not sure what I do to get the flesh sample, as there's nothing to grab or pickup or anything. I can't attack the flesh sample either, so a few questions-
One, is this a main quest or side quest?
Whether it's main or side, is there a hack in the console I can use to give me the item required to complete this quest? I'm a completionist and even if it's a side quest I'd like to finish it anyways.
Is there a way to re-randomize an area, to try and get a non glitched area, hack or not?

Isn't that the quest where you get the head item with a spotlight attached? I did a quest where the area was pitch black and the only way to see anything was to wear the quest item. It was pretty fun.

Wait, that's what that's for? Jeez, was wondering about this. I've seen glitched areas but nothing like this. Lemme give it a try.

This is not a glitched area. It is darkened on purpose. You get a flashlight goggle helmet that you are supposed to wear to go through the level.
The other areas that you say are "glitched" are the Death areas (Death's tunnels, Death's city) These are dark purposefully, to add variety to the game's templates.

Nope, I'm talking about actual glitches and I have yet to have a problem in Death's tunnels or anything like that. I've had glitches in each of the stations so far with my blademaster, though a simple reboot of my character fixes that.

Just dont be like me and destroy the headpiece because you cant figure out what it is for. Imagine the 30 minutes I spent trying to complete the quest in the dark.

I kept mine in my stash, might come in useful.
I also discovered that if you forget it, a pair of burning gloves (fawkes flameguards) make a passable substitute

I deleted mine didnt realise it was for the quest but if you drop the quest log out and back in you can retake the quest and get a new pair of goggles.

Only glitched stage i've come across was a tunnel type instance. Right after entering the stage, you go into one of those square rooms with the 2 doors to your left and right, 4 total, and 2 tunnels ahead of you that usually bring you to the same place. Problem was, one of those tunnels was sealed off, and the minimap confirmed this. The other tunnel had a crashed train in it, and i simply could not pass. The minimap showed area beyond the crashed train, but i couldn't get to it. Had to relog.

Then you simply have to pass the train! It's difficult but managable... ;)

Narh, you don't even have to drop the quest to get it back. I destroy it every single time and the next time you login it'll be back in inventory.

I completed it thrice now without the goggles. I get the goggles each time and destroyed them each them. I use the minimap to navigate :P

Nah, took me 5 minutes with the mini map :P

So you could get fawkes flameguards by finishing that quest with the googles or what you mean?

2 things:
1 suarrez i have had the same thing happen every time i tried to pas the train got ported back to zone in. relog fixed the problem obviously.
2 Portals illuminate rooms. So use your portals to illuminate your way through if you dont have the item and dont watch mini map. works especially well with party portal and 2 people in the area.

Even if you destroy the goggles, all you have to do is abandon the quest, then go back to the quest giver to get the quest again. You will then receive the elements necessary for completing your quest - in yur case, the goggles.
