Tempest

hey lads,

any one that ever tested "tempest"?

im wondering how it works.. is it like the old sorc way in d2 were u cast thunderstorm and its kind of an aura moving with you or is it rather a cloud u cast some place were its going to stay?

All I can say is it hurts like biznatch. I pved an evo guildmate of mine and the thing raped me before I could even get to her.

you cast for 3 seconds; you can't move during casting; it makes a cloud above your head; the cloud stays stationary; it strikes things that go under it with lightning (and also if something steps under it then runs away it will continue to target them if no other targets are available.)
the higher your tempest skill level the more lightning strikes will occur

i like it, but there are a lot of people that have problems with not being able to cast it at range or the fact that it doesn't move with you
but you can make it work for you
