um, don't think that either can cross over. Do whatever play style best suits you.

oh yeah, story line is the same. Just a matter of whether or not you want to play with the masses or not.

It just comes down to preference of single vs multiplay

If its available to you I would highly recommend multiplayer just due to the fact that you have many more options of whether to group or not, pvp, etc....even if you don't think you will want to do those things you at least have the option down the road if you want. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with GatorEZ1913. It makes some battles easier because you're teamed up with human players.

And I don't see any point in spending hours grinding for great items, unless you have someone to boast to :P

True, but either way it's still fun, and you can always show screenies of your SP character here or make Fraps vids and post to YouTube if you really want to boast.

I think I've about had it with the MP servers. I'm being dropped, locked and kicked out all the time. And this is just the beta crowd? Holy Christ, what's going to happen tomorrow when Joe Casual Gamer and his massive horde of friends invade the servers?

This is frightening.

I'm going to do multiplayer all the time, but I will play by myself most of the time. I enjoy chatting while I play and I can always group if need be. And its fun to see other guys running around with cool stuff that you 'want'. I've been in the alpha/beta so long I think it would be weird to go into a station and be alone.

Some of us enjoy playing for our own satisfaction. And if we really wanted to boast, we could always post screenshots. Besides, unless you pony up $10/mo, you only get 3 character slots, so single player definitely has the advantage there.

Yes. I'll only be playing mutl player with my cousins. We'd completely skip the server thing if LAN, Direct Connect, or some other option was available. We hate unnecessary crowds.

This game is made to have high replay value, so I don't think that'll be much of a problem.
