I see a lot of threads, and probably more threads to come asking if <insert pc spec> has the ability to run HG:L. Flagship has posted their minimum specifications.

http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10203/

The above link is a very handy tool that analyzes your PC and shows you how it ranks. Basically, it will show you how your PC compares to:

1) Minimum Requirements
2) Recommended
3) Yougamer's Minimum (Average hardcore gamer PC)
4) Yougamer's Recommended (Probably better then most people's PC)

I hope this answers pretty much every computer spec run ability question out there.

Cheers!

EDIT: At the time of this post, comparisons to 2-4 are not available yet, since the game has not been released yet (and NDA). The 3-4 most likely will be posted 2-3 days after release.

Yep, posted this one some time last week.

Still, could use a thread in the Tech Support section.

I can't even use the site right now. I only have access to a mac at the moment. I was hoping you could just enter in your specs.

steelclash your avatar is awesome btw.

H of M & M 2 ftw!

Yea, it has a java applet that reads in your hardware information. My system is around the 3000 mark, so I should be over the FSS recommended, but probably below that meter's recommended.

Whomever found that link to the system score thingy has my thanks. I've been wondering where I stand in HG:L as far as requirements are concerned and this really calmed my fears.

I scored in between 6000 and 7000, and my PC is celebrating its 2 year anniversary/birthday this month.

Then again, I could run the Clive Barker's Jericho demo with both texture settings on high in 1024x768 and it was a constant smooth-as-silk experience. (Even more so after updating to the new Nvidia/HG:L-specific drivers)

I've seen that HG:L has load screens before each level, and I've often noticed that while that may be annoying, games that load before each level TEND to run much better then comparable games that instead are set up to "load on the fly". (Gothic 3, STALKER, ect...)

I'd still want to know if I can still take on 50 undead/demons even at the lowest settings though (my pc's specs rate a couple of notches above the minimum requirements).

*laugh* Using:

http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10203/?sysInfoId=285209

to assess my wife's computer which she used to use for number crunching, it failed for OS, video card, and pretty much everything else. Complete bottom of the curve.

According to yougamers, it may not be qualified to run Pong.

Come on new system, arrive...
