Remember these are Beta drivers. Their last few beta releases have been really good though.

i tried the xp version and my comp came back up in 4bit mode... so I reverted back to old driver...

I'm currently using it now on my laptop and desktop, it's an amazing driver. Note though, the reason it doesn't support laptops is because the laptop version has laptop features. For example, my screen doesn't shut off when I close the lid with this driver.
Are any of those features important? Well, maybe the power saving feature, if you're playing without a power cord somehow... but no, none of them are really needed.
I'm always trying new drivers out, and these are doing quite well for me atm. Time to test them on hellgate.

I pray to god these drivers fix TDR issues, and make gaming on vista better :(
