This unoffical video for Hunter classes Marksman and Engineers showed a gun, but it had a spinning blade on it. Kinda like the one in Painkiller. That must be the melee weapon for Hunters. This is old so I don't know if they changed it.

No time count to say when you first see it, but it's pretty hard to miss.

Sorry for making a quoted version. Had to help out with something but thought I do a quick edit. Just realised I clicked qoute by mistake. Sorry

That must be the hunter chainsaw a few people have mentioned, looks damn great for zombie decapitating.

it would be a crazy weapon to use on a pack of zombies. "hey buddy you dropped your head you want it back? ... thats not mine... where is my head?"

It'll be an interesting weapon.

When doubt, use the D00M method. ;)

Heh don't worry about it. I fucked around with your posts a little and corrected what I thought you were correcting (I accidentally deleted the second post). S'all good. : )

And yes, the Painkiller looks cool. Just hope it's also slightly effective.

I'm not going to look at the vid but it seems you guys are talking about the weedwacker, the only hunter melee weapon we've seen so far. First note I say hunter as I believe we've seen both marksman and engineers use it (engie only very fleetingly though). Secondly... maaaannn that thing is so damn old and we've only ever seen it twice ever, wouldn't hold your breath in stays in the game in that form, though I'd say there will be a couple of hunter melee weapons.

Fingers crossed for more when the 'recon' class for Hunters is added !! Cmon knives ! I want a new asssassin character cept with knives and guns !

theres a spinning razorblade gun for hunters which is melee its like a saw thats spinning at the end of a gun.

its a base type of weapon, so you will see it in vendors and different types of it.

You can buy them from Temple vendors as well.

Don't think that the Holloway in Charing Cross carries them.

I've tried them out as my MM is wearing mostly +stats gear... They're not that great as it puts you near the monster to kill it, but its kinda handy to kill grubs with. Though its 2 handed and takes up alot of space in your inventory.

Do these weapons have some sort of strength, or are just simply novelty melee?

Its more of a novelty... It kinda works like a Zeus rifle, the aim doesn't degrade as you move around, and it 'fires' at a very fast rate, but after 2-3 seconds its power level drops from 100% to 50% and it begins to lower your damage output. Though, it still does some pretty serious damage, but I still wouldn't use it as everyone has better melee/armor than you do.
