I'm going to perform some maintenance on the forum for awhile, so expect color weirdness.

You're not weird. It's a lot easier on the eyes.
FYI, don't worry about those green colored text ads. I'm having the colors changed soon.
I'm trying to look for a decent combination of grey at the moment.

Keep the gray! It's pleasing to the eyes. They don't feel like crawling out of my head after half and hour on the forums.

Yeah, I decided to switch it to gray because when I viewed the forums over in a cybercafe earlier today, I just couldn't read it very well. The brightly lit environment really screwed with the contrast of the site.
I'm aiming for maximum visibility with the new scheme.
Having brighter shades allows the website to be easy to read in both bright and dim environments.

The grey (or a variation thereof) will return in a brand new scheme. I was testing the readability and colors with the current scheme.
I'm planning two or three different new color schemes in the new theme so you can pick from them.

Gonna have to get used to the new colors. I find this scheme works wonderful inside threads, but the bolded text when a new post is in a thread doesn't seem to mesh well. It is hard to read. However inside the thread all is good and I love the new fonts for the titles :)
:) I'm sure it is known but the ad's are now 100% unreadable at least on my end hehe... I'm anxious to see your other color schemes though. You could try a halloween theme... black , orange and yellow :P while by themselves, orange and yellow overpower.. but on black they actually dull the effects of black + relax their own sharpness.
Keep up the good work though Sol. I love when guru goes through level ups, errr... upgrades :P

I don't mind banners and stuff, but I do have to say that those green colored text ads just totally suck. I think it really messes up the board. I could even live with more banners if you could get rid of the green text ads.
Just my opinion.

They've been fixed, now white.
I'm hoping the gray color scheme gets some tweakage though. Or at least the text is darkened. Kinda hard to read without more contrast.

So it'd seem.
The leading/kerning is a bit tight but still, neat.

That's because it is the Hellgate: London font. :)

Rather certain it's free.
We should host it. It's one of the first non-multimedia files we have. Figure people will want the "Hellgate: London font" just like they wanted Diablo's.

Nice job on the site, guys! Much easier on the eyes. I still need to test out the other color schemes...

I LOVE this current font.. the two tone... the dark grey/charcol with the lighter shade. It rules. Easy on the eyes... colors are very easy to see and the board itself looks very visible and lively. :) Please keep this one Sol! The Spammer begs you!

Eurostile is not free. Exocet wasn't free, either. But that didn't stop people from hosting it up on the internet. They don't cost much, though, but the license prohibits sharing and hosting the font.
