Which class of the cabalist faction will have theabilty of manifesting and acquiring horns and other attributes of demons as they progress? Is that a path takin by the evoker?

I'm pretty sure that was from the dropped class of the cabbies. The one that plays like a druid, shapeshifting for combat and stuff.

It has been speculated that it will be released post launch. Along with the Recon Hunter. Which of course means it'll be for subscribers only :D

Ahh okay so that's what you meant. I was also thinking it may be a post launch class. Still that doesn't mean its dropped...well...if you need to subscribe to get it i suppose it does.

ya, most figure it'll be a post-launch class. Hunters have the Recon, which is rumoured to be a traps user. Cabalists should end up with the shapeshifter class. and Templars will most likely end up with a 2-handed specialty class.

Isn't that the blademaster?

The Blademaster is a dual-wielding specialist if I'm not mistaken.

Think of a Frenzy Barbarian ala D2 :)

(not the best comparisation, I know)

Eh just noticed from what you said Excidius that, that can be taken 2 ways. The focus is 2 handed weapons or 2 weapons, 1 in each hand. Still i think the blademaster is well a blademaster so will no doubt do dual weapons and 2 hander weapons.

Considering there is no two handed weapons at launch, it wouldn't make sense for the Blademaster to have skills for using two handed weapons. Also, in one of the interviews, I believe they even said the Blademaster is centered around dual wielding, not to mention being called "Rogue-like" a couple times.

It is possible that Summoner and Evoker may still have some of those shapeshifting abilities in their own skill sets though, after all, if either of them do have some sort of self buff, it would make sense for it to be a shape shifting ability. However, neither is built around it, and probably the next Cabalist class will actually be built around it.

Those aren't 2 handed swords? Then what the heck have i been seeing for the past few years in all those gameplay videos? They obviously have 2 handed swords, or at least you can choose to hold them in 2 hands instead of 1.

There aren't any 2 handed swords in the game at this point, at least not known to the general public.

Blademaster is the Speed Attack Dual Weilding character
Guardian is the Defensive Shielded character

The other class will most likely be a 2-Handed, Heavy Hitting character. Not speed like the Blademaster, pure smashing power.
Crusader would be a good class name. ;)

THe shapeshifting was actually something that was meant to be like what you described a long time ago. It was a set of skills that they used and they talked of things like demon parts that varied what the character was like.

However it was removed as they were not happy with it and were running out of time to concentrate on it, so most likely they are going to make a full separate class based on it later, how it will work is unknown as of yet :)
