Are you happy with the Vae Victus name?

i am, however, my brothers wife took latin for a long time in college (she was a classics major) and she informed me that it should be "Vae Victis" not "Vae Victus"

but i dont know, thats my only thought about it. anyway, i like the name. thats just me though :D

Also, before I vote, I want to give Pepper a chance to show us what he thinks a cool name would be. I can't imagine a better name personally. I think that coolness can be found in any name that doesn't immediately seem stupid.

I didn't make this thread with the intent of giving the clan a name of my own. I just wanted to see if people shared my opinions on the lousiness of the name.

But if you want suggestions... how about Guru, The Musketeers (I'm reading that book right now), or Fideli (took a little latin license on this one) meaning "The Faithful"

Understand, it's not whether or not you like these more. It's whether you are happy with Vae Victis, or not.

Another reason I like this name is the simplicity of saying Im in VV later when no one uses the full name any more and we are known throughout the lands ;)

Also it makes a great logo design with the pointy V's as we did with the sword... so having to make a new logo would be a bitch :p

And something like the Guru's and stuff like that makes it sound less professional in my opinion, while with a Latin name we sound more menacing and like we arent just a joke guild :p
