After Much playing... (A LOT)

And much testing in SP with level 50 builds.

It seems as If Though There are a Few Classes that Shine In Elite Nightmare Whereas Others Are Zerg Rush Classes (You Die a LOT)

Lets Get the Nasty Classes Out of the WAy first.

The Evoker(VA+, Fire+, and spectral as side) is Incredibly Hard to play after level 40 in NightMare Elite, This level 40 cap will apply to a LOT of other characters as well.
You might get past the level 40 mark and it might get easier. But i can tell you now itll be one HELL of a tedious grind. And you better be pretty masochistic.

Another Class under this category is the Blademaster.
Which has similar problems in nightmare elite at post 40 levels. (i was a soj Build)

And oddly. The Cabalist Summoner is Incredibly Hard to play at post level 40 where the warper prior to this was able to still clean up but here turning a corner would bring death very quickly.)

It seems Two Classes Shine in the Elite Nightmare arena.

The Obvious choice is the Guardian. Which is well a Tank. And really hard to die with. (Havent been able to try this with the nerfs on the Test Server as of yet)

And another That does very well is a twinked out MarksMan Which Was one of the classes i HATED playing int he beginning because it was so hard ( realllllly squishy esp when i met the guardian for the first time) But this character Does VERY well in nightmare elite. has a lot of possiblities that Allow for more improvement as well.

And the Engineer does well but not as well as the above.

Just my thoughts, If anyone else has some input feel free to share! =)

I don't actually feel this is true tbh. I have a Evoker past 40 and I really haven't had as much trobule as you might think at all. Yea sure, there are some tough spots, but its not all that hard, I mean I have barely had to use any form of injectors unless I make some sort of mistake and I kill things with fair speed. I guess I grinded it a bit, but really not that much at all. My build as linked : http://hellgate.ingame.de/skilltree/evoker/?l=45&s=0551265210004009020000020000
Got to Abaddon and started farming him with ease about 2 weeks ago but sadly no progress since then as I have been unable to acess since then, but I don't think things are gonna get a whole lot "harder" but mobs may just take a little longer to kill.

Though the evoker need not be as squishy as many people build it, up until being in Hell itself (which is hard to impossible for any class to solo, possibly excepting MM), it isn't that bad. (I can get there but once in Hell, forget it.) Along the way, the wall I hit was at the tests (beauty, etc.) where they were impossible as an evoker unless you were level 50. For that reason, keep farming until that point as you won't be going anywhere...

However, a separate issue is that 1.0 will make soloing Hell in NME much more doable (or so I've heard)

I found it a struggle at times with my MM in Elite mode. The bottom end of the MM trees show promise of potential, but don't really pay off when you need the massive damage to push through the more dangerous groups. In Elite NM, once you've unlocked the higher tier skills (especially Multi-Shot), the MM can absolutely tear through the game. It's almost too easy. Having paid your dues in the lower mode previously, it's still entirely satisfying.

I literally sprinted through Millenium Battle and 314s mind with hardly a scratch. Good times :)

I've found the Hu-Hypershot, and Multi-shot with rapid fire. make the elite nm mode rather easy compared to even the guardian

You guys say that MM is good to solo i NME. What builds are you guys using?
I started a PartyMM the other day, only damage output... but I'm wondering to start one in solo play. I find many of the guides out of date with the MM (don't know if I'm correct)

From my experience, guardian is a no brainer and the engineer is also pretty easy. Had less trouble advancing to end of nightmare with the eng. than with the guardian.

Yup i hear that...the drone is miles better at tanking than my guardian...(but his gear sucks :) )

Engy's rock.

I have a lvl50 evoker in elite NM...except some difficult points I moved through just fine without trouble...the build of the char makes the difference and of course the equipment..You don't have to be a brute with tons of armour and stamina to stay alive in HGL neither to be John Rambo unleashing millions of bullets..all the people who have an evoker understand what I mean..an evoker is a secret hero...you have to play one to understand how powerful he is;)
