(I obviously wish I was richie rich and could even select settings above this - the game shines on the higher shaders and looks poorific on the lower settings.)
What strikes me whenever I view the old "post pix of your guys" thread is how much I really do love the armor designs on the whole. The retro 70's style stuff blademasters wear and such.
It is a bummer that looks are coupled to function - an Evoker would never put on any ninja gear, for example. And I've yet to find any high level Blinds - it's kind of hard to pull off the BDSM look without having tragically gimped armor, even from the current bounds the feed system imposes.
At the end of the day it leads to the same conclusion: a game mod with core changes (good skill trees, sensible content layout) would be fucking unbelievably awesome. No "could be" - the core is freaking there.
A much better game is sitting inside there.
