Every day I check this website it seems like more and more ads are on this site. I understand that you are tryin to make a couple bucks but making people watch ads is a major pita. The popups are not a big issues since my browser blockes them anyway, and the google ads dont take up very much space. Please reconsider the way you make people view ads.

There's an ad at the top and at the bottom so not sure what your issue is.

The ads only annoy me for a fraction of a second, they are easy enough to ignore.

Well unless all you people want to donate to Sol for all the server and various v bulletin licence costs then I think the ads are here to stay ;)

Im sorry, but with a site with this many members it's the best way to at least help with those costs (they don't even cover the costs as for this many people Sol and whoever hosts our servers have had to upgrade them a few times due to stress overloads)...

So yeah, either people pay to come to forums, or the ads pay for it... and I for one would rather see a few ads here and there...

It's not like the ads are obnoxious. They don't make noise, they aren't animated (except for a select few, which aren't seizure inducing), and they are in places you're not even going to look. Find a site with less ads, then complain.

I don't get pop-ups, but every 20 or times I hit the site I get a 'full screen' ad which requires me to wait like 10-15 seconds before it'll load the forum page...

This is the only ad I was saying is annoying. All the other ones I dont mind but being forced to look at an ad for 15 seconds before you can move on sucks.
