Replacement laser goggles

Hey all,

Due to playing when very, very tired, I trashed the set of laser goggles that I got in Liverpool Street Station today. I've completed the Quests I had to use them for, but I liked having them as a toy, so I was wondering if there was any way to get another pair in single-player mode?

I'm not 100% (never really tried myself...), but I don't think you can get an extra piece of quest-specific gear after completing relevant quest. Not for same difficulty anyway.
Of course, you will get an extra piece for NM Aldwytch...

there's 2 missions in the dark, the adwych and the necropolis one (level 5 necropolis deep is in the dark). you get a second set of goggles even if you save your old set.

my friend showed me couple nights back. he had one with 19 shields or something sitting in his inv while he had another pair with more shield on his head.

I was able to hold onto the pair I received for the Aldwych quest, but the higher level pair I received for the Necropolis quest disappeared after completion.

Bummed me out too, because I dismantled the lower level pair when I received the higher level pair. Now I have nada.

I saved them in the locker... and now I have 3 pairs after gotten through nightmare. I say just throw them away after use.

Thanks for the responses all - like some of you, I destroyed the Aldwych pair once I got the better ones... then lost the better ones.

But now I'm replaying on Nightmare, so all is good :)

they disappear after the necropolis quest? i never noticed.

yknow.... since the *only* use you have for that gadget is in aldwych and necropolis and you get one for each job.... kinda makes me wonder if it isn't a bug that you keep the laser goggles and they should actually disappear like in the necropolis quest....

Neither ever disappeared on me... and sticking to one of them (preferably Necropolis ones) does have a purpose - isin't one of the Broker (ohh, how I hate this guy...) quests in Aldwytch?
