I just cannot handle the grind past level 44. I just cannot. Its just not FUN at this point. I wont play until the next patch to balance the difficulty.

I find stabbbing myself with a rusty pitchfork more fun at the moment.

Yes, on weekdays I play about 2-3 hours a night, and then about 10-12 hours over the weekend if I'm not going out with friends or doing anything else important I have played 20ish hours over the weekend before. Trying to get in as much HG:L as possible, classes start next week and I'll be lucky to see more than 8 hours of play time over an entire week once they get ramped up.

I voted no, no urge to play after 2 crashes going to hell a few days ago.

I play fairly frequently but during those times where I load up the game and it crashes to desktop less than 5 minutes in, my 360 or Granado Espada is fired up and I don't bother with playing this game for a bit. The only one you can blame for yourself getting frustrated with the game is you so I don't let it.

Yes. Between finding new ways to play a single class, partying with friends and rivals, testing builds, I still find immense enjoyment.

Sure, why not? When I have serious amounts of free time for playing, I'd rather continue with The Witcher, but I still play HGL during those shorter, weekday sessions.

No, and I removed it from the PC, too.
Big disappointment (again, thank god for The Witcher for my RPG fix) and a fair amount of bugs.
It kinda bodes ill for a game when I, usually patient with games, find myself dozing off in front of my keyboard due to boredom caused by the repetitiveness of the action/visuals (well, fatigue, too, but that doesn't stop me from playing a 'slower' game like Hearts of Iron. Maybe coz' HoI requires more running brain cells? :D ).
The last straw for me was the difficulty I experienced in updating the game. Maybe I'll re-install HG:L after half a year or so.
Oh, If there's one thing that I kinda liked from the HG:L stuff, it was the novel that was released before the game. I'm waiting for the sequel, but not as eagerly as I think I would be had I enjoyed the game. :D

I honestly have to say no but not just because I haven't loged in for over a month, because when I did have the time to waste I had no desire to choose HGL as my entertainment medium.

Sometimes.. So "yes", I guess.
I usually run Ubuntu (Linux), so I have to restart the computer to play Hellgate. And most of the time, I don't feel it's worth it. I played for the first time in over a month yesterday. And it's not like I've been busy during christmas/new year: I've been free from Dec 19th to Jan 14th.

I stopped for a while, then started again when they added the party system and I've found new interest.
Can't wait for the new content. *smacks lips*

Every now and then - I have so many different chars, there's always something to suit my taste if i feel like kicking some demon ass. Game time is limited with my work schedule though.

I still think that the one thing that will make me want to play heaps again will be the Shapeshifter class...
I've been hanging out for that class ever since it was mentioned as an idea... and the fact that it wasn't at launch made me play second choices which I just don't find as fun...
So hopefully once they fix all the other stuff the new classes will be made fast enough to make me want to play 24/7 again :p

I've just started, since I only recently bought a good comp. I'd probably have held off anyway though, since the game at launch seemed pretty bad.

I stopped in early December...
Until I decided to document it in.. you know... the horror....
After ~70 screenshots today, I'm starting to rue my decision. Oh man, the pain.
The idea of playing through as every class... it's terrifying...
edit: I'm just saying my head really hurts right now.

The satire is cheap anyway; I'd recommend spending your time on something you find more valuable. ;)
Unless obvious humour and tired sarcasm is the only way you can get your kicks ;)

I'm playing still. If I make it through Stonehenge with more memories of fun than frustration I just might retain my sub. It's about 50/50 atm.

There is no satire or humor.
There is only Hellgate.
And rage.
I mean, if you think Hellgate is unworthy of being documented, I agree with you. Hell, the never added-to wikis agree with you.

Heh.
You'll only do yourself a mischief.
And document all you want. Just seems a little too bitter to be anywhere near nutritional, is all ;)

same here.. from the 1 hour/week im now almost not playing hellgate annymore. im mostly doing cod4 or css. maybe if im done with school i will install d2 again.
i think alot of people who followed hellgate because they wanted it to replace d2 were dissapointed.

I think part of it is the game not being interesting or varied enough.... OR my preferences as a gamer has changed since I played D2.
I think the main issue is I've played guildwars since Beta and just take for granted some of the things it has. So when a game doesn't have it I feel somewhat disparaged.
I am not saying HGL is a bad game mind you, in fact its good fun for a little while however its not sub worthy by any stretch based on the current build.
I do however see HGL pulling an 'eve' and becoming a market showcase so subscribers I guess are doing something with their money, even if only securing a future for the game.
I wish HGL luck, I'll check back each and every update as i hope it becomes the game I wanted it to be :)

I uninstalled hellgate the other day being the second month in a row I haven't even loged in. Hell it's been a week since I've even looked at the forums this game is pretty much in a coma it's not going to wake up from.

If , by the time some real improvements to the Engineer class come before my my sub ends in march, I will play again. Otherwise I probably will not play again. Its a shame because It sure was fun at first.

Same here. Also can't stand the ridicuolus amount of time required to level up after llvl 25 or so. I play about 2 hours a day and it's frustrating to see such a slow progression

I'm not planning on quitting anytime soon, but the bugs have gotten increasingly annoying. The Stonehenge area is just another huge grindzone with an extreme difficulty factor (you're pretty much screwed unless you've got some mates to help out) and the regular game is a bit stale after you've seen it all. Right now, 2 hours of grinding a day are enough for me.
