FYI To Quick Start SP for those that still don't know

In SP,
you can skip the opening credits, menu, character select screen and go directly to the character you want to play by.

going to My Documents\My Games\Hellgate\Save\Singleplayer
and double-clicking on the character save file that you wan to play.
the launcher will come up, just slect singleplayer and the game will immediate load the character savefile.
no need to go through the opening credits, etc.

that's what i always do when i play SP.

Or by right clicking the said character's file and make a Short Cut to the desktop, but that should be self-explainatory.

Good Post for Single Players though. Makes switching Characters a breeze:

Type /quit in game.
Double Click a Different Character

(/quit acts just like hitting Alt+F4)

yeah, i have shortcuts for all my characters. :D

Neat! :D I didn't know of this, although I have accidently double-clicked the save files when backing them up.
