Act 2 - That'll get Infected question

After I kill the Brain at Chocolate Park, I should return and talk with Techsmith 314 and Lucious. But I can't talk with them (no green conversation sign from them), what's the problem? BTW, I already activate the Oracle.

You killed the Brain (or whatever it's called) but did you chase 314 around the park? You need to catch him and THEN talk to Lucious (in Chocolate Park). Talking to him back at Charing Cross comes later.
If that doesn't help looks like you got hit by a bug.


[Sigh... I know the problem, I also find it awkward that NPC's exist in multiple places at the same time... happens several times during the game]

I am having the same problem...
I catch the tech smith, I talk to Lucius..
But nothing happens... I have read he tech smith is supposd to be thrown in the pit... but he just stands there.. After that... I can't talk to Lucius no matter where I find him (Charing Station & Green Park)... Pretty frustrating.. I am up to date with patches, and am playing single player...

Not what you want to hear, but....

If you "quit" directly from chocolate park, or where ever you happen to be now, do you get the warning about "abandoning" the current quest?

Even if you don't, that'd be my suggestion: find the quest in your quest log ("L") and hit the abandon button. Quit the game, reload the game, find Lucius again and start the quest over.

(You wont have to redo the whole quest, just the last main story quest component given to you by Lucius).

I tried the suggestion above (quitting the quest & restarting) but it restarts you with the oracle already in your possession. The old guy tells you to turn this thing on & let's get started, but 'activating' (right clicking on the oracle) has no effect. Huh?





Apparently I was dealing with one of Lucius' many clones--only the one @ Green Park will do what you want.
