Single players, what class do you play?

Eh, I play a lot of classes, but I started out as a BM, so thats what I voted for.
I can't really turn down the violent, double sword, whirlwind of death idea with a good conscious, you know?
Gotta try it.

I actually play Marksman, Blademaster and Evoker. But Marksman most often, so that's where I put my poll vote.

I've tried a Blademaster and a Guardian, but I have at least 5 or 6 Marksmen (hopefully on my final reroll this time around, lol). There are few things that compare to Rapid Fire with Multishot activated. For some reason the melee classes don't feel as good as the melee classes in D2/LoD, or TQ/IT. BM's are just HP-injector mongers, and GRD's lack damage dealing capabilities (yes, I spent my skill points badly ;)). Again; Rapid Fire and Multishot...

Marksmen are taking the lead. As I suspected.

Blademaster for me. Some Guardians as well.

I guess I'm too influenced by my PnP RPG days or too old to change gamestyle. ;)

True, my guess is it's because unlike Diablo / TQ series, few mobs in HGL are purely melee. Most are either ranged or follow unique attack pattern.
Chasing archers with a warrior never was much fun.

I currently play MM and shield BM, but my primary char is an evoker and she gets my vote.

I'm having the most fun with my engineer, so he gets my vote. I love the droid hovering around, protecting my ass when I'm too engrossed with picking up loot. And the retrofit skills are a god-send!

I play all the classes, but my lvl 25 Guardian has to be my favourite.

My BM actually surpassed my MM in terms of level, chapter, and speed, despite its my 2nd char...

MM still gets my vote. I like guns. If only theres a freezing gun.

I've played them all in SP, and have them all about the same level so i can just swap between them when i get bored.

They're all good in different ways, my favourite i dunno i had the most fun as the Engineer, and Blademaster was fun for just sheer pwnage. Evoker and summoner took me a while to figure out and i dunno i get bored of those most quickly. Marksman fun yeah and you get all the hardware, but slow to proceed thru the game and the class i get creamed most often on. Finally guardian - again, took me a long time to figure out and get the hang of picking and using the right skills and auras - but once i did....aw man definately having the most fun at the minute, i fear no size pack of ghey gremlins thermocannons or not lol

Total sniper based Marksman.

She's little.
She's Asian.
She'll blow your face off at 200 yards.

Blademaster. Guns are boring. I prefer to chop someone's face off at close range, not put a piece of lead in their head 20 feet away.

What do you think Amarra? Marksmen going to take it? Not a HUGE turnout, but interesting nonetheless... Im not surprised with these results...

I'm not surprised by Marksmen and Guardians. They're both good for solo play since Marksmen can "run and gun" and Guardians are great at tanking.

I am, however, surprised to see so many Blademasters. I would have thought their lack of defensive abilities would make them unpopular for solo play.
