I've searched the fourms and have had a hard time finding an answer, but does anyone know if opted in for the subscriber's / founders membership if the additional content such as quests and unique items would also be availible in the single player game when the patches are released?

No idea, but I was a bit surprised to find items with the "Fawkes'" modifier in SP after the recent patch.

They said a while back that it was their intention to provide that content to subs even in their offline accounts...
However I am not sure if that actually got done or not, or if it will be done in the future...

Originally they intended to pass on the sub content to SP, but as of late that have stated that they have no longer have plans to do that. So basically assume that no sub content will ever see it's way into SP.
It's pissed off a lot of SP people, but FFS feel that they can not move the content to SP while maintaining the security of that content.

Items and such might get added anyway (perhaps I'm thinking), if someone makes it 3rd party, like the Hellfire Torches in D2, which you can get in SP.

Do you know what I wish? I wish I had ONE place I could look where I could find out something definative about the patches. I want to know about the content in the next patches instead of just hoping for things. So does everyone. Maybe its just me, but I think it would be a great idea instead of searching the forums for answers.
Please let me know if that place exists. Im not saying it doesnt. Id like to know how some members seem much better informed than me and if so where THEY go to get their answers.

problem is that because they are constanly adding/tweaking content they can't say for sure until it's out...

I understand that they keep making changes etc.
But let me ask you this. How satisfied are you with "MAYBE" answers? What I mean by this is answers to questions like "When is this patch going to be released?" or "Whats included with this patch?" and getting answers like "Oh! Anytime now....maybe next week...." or "Maybe we will be including...blah blah blah...."
Am I just being unreasonable in understanding that PROFESSIONALS just might be capable of better answers than this? Please dont respond by telling me that there are too many variables for them to be UNABLE to give better answers. Id even feel better if they gave target dates and just followed through with the stuff they said already. Like elite mode for SPers.
DONT TELL YOUR FANBASE ONE THING AND NOT FOLLOW THROUGH!
If you forsee that you will be unable or unwilling to impliment something, DONT tell your fans you can. AM I alone in this? I need it known Im not angry as I type this. Im disappointed. It seems there is a disrespect for the fans who paid the money for things they STILL havent got. Spearthrower and various other SP Champions will agree with me here.
ANY OF YOU SPers OUT THERE HAVE ELITE MODE YET?
Um...re-read this and it came off as a rant. Sorry.

Yes, it sure is irritating, though I can imagine they may truly not know when exactly they will be able to release this or that. MP 0.7 patch got delayed a day or two, even their precious subscribers are basically fed promises up till now (let's face it, dye kits, some wacky events and horadic ripoff for 10$ a month is a joke... Stonehenge is the first solid thing they got). It may not look very professional, but then again, if you compare this behaviour with policy of other companies, you may notice that FSS are actually being rather communicative. Sometimes I get the feeling they are actually trying to say too much, rising expectations and unwillingly spreading general confusion.
Of course, their marketing policy that led to basically splitting HGL into three separate games can only make it more difficult for them - I believe this is the main reason why we are being kept in the dark in regard to things like SP Elite mode. They simply haven't decided yet if they should give it to us or not.
Regarding main thread subject, I sure would expect them to eventually release extra content in the form of buyable update (downloadable file or separate disc, no matter), as I can see no logical reason why 50$ worth of online subscription should be in any way better than 50$ I would eventually pay for exactly the same content usable in offline play (that's assuming they ever release "extras" worth that kind of money). However, at this point this is far from certain, as
(...) FFS feel that they can not move the content to SP while maintaining the security of that content.
and in these days of anti-piracy obsessions this is a very solid reason against selling subscriber stuff to SP'ers. Besides, depending on how things go for them, they may eventually decide they have no real reason to do so.
I may sound cynical, but I think that what we finally get is directly dependant on the success rate of their subscription model; if subscriptions fail, they are more likely to look for other, more traditional ways to bring new customers to the game, and non-sub players (even us, third-rate SP lowlife ;)) may actually benefit from this (regular, old-fashioned expansion anyone?). Should subscriptions prove resounding success, we are more likely to be stuck with the core game (reduced to "extended demo" role) forever, as they will naturally concentrate their efforts on premium customers that bring them most profit (ah, and the latter scenario would likely cause spreading of this particular business model, and THAT wouldn't be pretty).
Of course, I'd have nothing against being proven wrong.

Not to be a dick, but how many of you SPers which bitch in THIS forum about no elite mode, actually go to the official forums and bitch in the 'suggestions' forums there about an elite mode?
I don't know if you do or down't, but it'll surely increase your chances of being heard if you do....

I can't access to the official forums. I'm betting many of us are in this situation.

Then I'd suggest make a few representatives who can that will make suggestions and link to this forums (i.e. specific threads) to help FSS find out.
I don't personally give a rats ass about elite in SP, but if you want things to change then you have to do something about it, because screaming 'by yourself' in a corner will not make change....

Im with Amarra on this. Id raise all HOLY HELL If I could. Its okay though. I have a young student under my careful direction that CAN access it and he is being GROOMED appropriately. Amarra...our opinion IS being heard. I assure you. And from what Ive seen we are the CALMER of the people involved in expressing our dissatisfaction.
Just a quick question to Molehs_Mum...do you feel we have no REASON to bitch?

Spearthrower has done this: http://www.hellgateguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11100
If that doesn't get a reply soon, then I suppose we can try again.

Yep, considering that there are about a bazillion threads you need volume and as many possible to post in those threads, if they can, one guy is a start but you need lots of people to post there and not just assume that everyone else will do the work for them.
You can't tell me that every person that want elite in SP is not in the US....
