Well here is a bit of a spoiler but i made a marksman lvl50 and rushed him to cheapside then put all his skills to max and placed a full set of omnipotent armor on him (each piece adds +3 evasion and +5 movespeed) and used loki sniper rifle to kill and it seems like its almost impossible to kill things, the damage against a zombie takes about 12 hits to take him down

i just telling everyone to know what to expect in the end of NM SP, your build has to be insanely powerful to be able to kill sydonai

EDIT: This was done with the use of a trainer

Damn, I had high hopes that my new Marksman could pull it off, but with all the nerfs they implemented from retail version to v1.43, I'm starting to doubt it.

Guess I better start focusing more on Ignite than Phase when I reach NM.

So true, heh...

I did the same thing, sort of, some time ago. I downloaded a CLVL50 Marksman and ran through Normal and as far as I could get into NM. Which was to Finsbury Square, third test. At that point it just got impossible to kill mobs, whatever type. For instance, the Unique Tormenter you're supposed to kill (Quest given by Rorke, I believe) took me about 50 or so deaths (=Multishot activations) to kill. And my gear was NOT poor by any means. i got through the Necropolis levels by running in and dying, and then scouting out where the exit to the next level was as a ghost, and then running as far as each tombstone recorvery allowed.

Also, feed requirements on endgame gear is (as already said earlier) rather appalling. Give me my SP patch, damn it! ;)

well i think maybe using EV and stun and ignite attacks might work(small chance) but the damage would just be too low

sniping as i said ealier just doesnt do enough damage(and thats the highest damage a single shot)

maybe a rapid fire build might work although standing still for three seconds lands up killing you - on a side note using RF with a sniper rifle and multi shot, beacon and homing shot might work well against bosses(i think its 9 shots in the burst with 80%enhanced damage from heighted senses and 90 ED from beacon)

EV = Elemental Visions?

I've tried that (but maybe I didn't reach high enough amounts of stun?). I took a Predator (you know those single handed rocket pistols with 600 rpm), and filled it with 4 mods (max allowed per Predator) with +stun strength. The weapon had a total of about 700 stun, and my Elemental Visions was maxed as well as Elemental Beacon. Didn't do squat to unshielded foes (they were 8 levels above me). I would have gotten another one too, if it weren't for the fact that my stats wouldn't allow it. :S

I'm having my hopes up for my new Marksman though, with which I've figured ouy how to get almost permanent Multishot (as of now, Controlled Burst increases the use rate of any skill if you use it during the 3 second duration of RF)

It's the 0.7 equivalent patch that will bring a NM balance to the game.

Until then, it's a case of parking your characters at around 35-40 in my opinion. After that it's too much work for too little reward.
