If you're having trouble, you might want to consider clearing the area of as much Boils as possible before destroying the Furnace, and thus spawning the boss. What class are you playing?

This boss is easy as one-two-three with a Marksman; just use Tactical Stance, kill the smaller beholders first, and then concentrate your fire on the actual boss. As soon as he spawns a new small beholder, kill it as fast as possible. You should be able to just stay put, sit there and shoot it without any difficulties whatsoever.

I've done this boss with a Guardian too, however this fight in particular has appeared to have fled my memory.

When I did this as a Blademaster I stood right behind the main boss so that I could kill the little beholder type monsters (I don't recall their actual names) as soon as they spawned. When all the beholders are dead, concentrate your attack on the main boss. If you have a high damage attack like Sword of Reckoning or Sword of Authority, use it here.

Ive played through as a marksman a couple of times and the best stategy that works for me is to clear the area first then destroy furnace pick off the beholders as fast as possible then stand in front of the boss shooting him where he spawns the beholders so that you kill them as they come out and damage him at the same time, i would recomend using some AoE weapons or weapons that have spread damage
