I was able to read that in MP you can reset instance, so that you can kill abaddon over and over again. Is it possible in SP?? Thanks for the help.:D

I assume in MP you just team up with someone who hasn't done the quest and you can fight abaddon again. I've not read of a way to endlessly farm him by yourself though, in either game modes.

I haven't tried it yet.... but most of them revolve around handing a quest in.

If you don't hand the quest in, then maybe he will respawn?

I can't remember how this particular encounter works. If the quest is to kill him, and the quest string ends when you kill him, then you wont be able to farm him. If however the quest string ends having to return to a NPC, you should be able to farm him by killing him, PRD back to town, abandon quest, retake the quest, rezone.

Next time one of my chars heads that way, I'll give it a try! ;)

But does it reset that quest letting you take it again?

Yup, but if you take the quest again he's there again! OR you can just quit the game after killing him, start again don't talk to NPC to hand in the quest, and just go there, he's there again. I still havent tried handing in the quest, and checking back if he's still there. :)

If you hand in the quest, he definitely will not be there! ;)

Just don't even attempt it because that's 100% sure!!! :)

Nope, doesn't seem to be the case. I tried it today with Wurm, and he doesn't respawn, even without handing in the quest and after relogging. Seems to be possible only with with the Beast of Abaddon. There was a post somewhere by "Angry Texan" (not sure if that's his exact nickname here in the forums, apologies if it isn't), describing exactly how to go about farming there. I haven't tried it yet, but apparently all you have to do is: kill the boss, wait a couple of minutes for it's corpse to vanish, then leave and re-enter the zone and he'll be there again (and dropping several items as he does when killed the first time, I presume).

OMG!! Abaddon's alive! I just went back to the station, regcharged, then travelled back through Lower Thames! I guess he's very farmable! :D

Tried this one also..he will be back after a couple of minutes...:p

what i did was, after i killed him popped up a PRD and went back to Monument station, did not claim my reward, recharged in the station and went back in the portal, and he was alive again...woot! farmed him about four times..:eek:
