Will hellgate london have super cool anime hair or bland helmet hair? I mean how many games have suffered from helmet hair?(too many) At any rate, what kinds of hair styles would YOU want to see in the game?

What ?! Anime hair ? No way. it'sokay to have certain hair styles in the game, but God knows that the poor people in the outposts don't have time to dye their hair blue or fix it with mousse and gel.

Style is good, but over style is very bad. I hope they will keep the things as they are. I dont want to see thousand templar chars who wanted to be as cool as dante or something like that ^^
I like more creepy chars... :D

Not helmet hair. Nooo. Styled is nice, especially on the females, though they shouldn't be perfectly neat. Just, uh, keep the funky colours away.

I guess it will be extremely difficult to find either a hairdresser (not counting all the demons which would love to give you a new headcut ;)) or a store for cosmetics after the invasion.

I like anime, but it simply would not be fitting in a game like HGL.

I wouldnt mind funky colored hair, I mean hey, its not like they cant figure out simple dyes and stuff right? But I dont think gravity defying hair would work all that well with this game's setting. Anyway thats my two cents.

a mohawk or the like is fine, but god, no Anime Hair. this is not a cartoon game its based on semirealistic view of the world not Animated.

too some extent sure why not.. but something that fits the theme of the game, you dont need yellow super saiyan hair in this game :/

maybe short 1 incher spikes would be good enough, mohawk's would be good for cabalists, and nice hair for the female char's, would pony tails work? they wear helmets and all... there should be a semi emo looking hair style in there also, like that one in GW, heh :/

edit:
<- I want the messy hair in my avatar, minus the orange :P

I like anime hair, to a certain extent. I mean, I sure as hell don't want to see Dragon Ball hair, but there's nothing wrong with the kind of hair you see sported by the characters in Black Cat for example. It's stylish and it sure as hell beats all the generic hairstyles of Oblivion.

Big no to anime hair. It's retarded... who the hell though of that anyway? I mean think about it, what was going on in that guy's head?

> Oh yeah let's make our characters hair like a porcupine and make all the spikes point out in different directions! YEAH! That's awesome.

Uh no thanks. Anime is at best OK... but seriously it's over the top, even if it is a fantasy game I'm still just, WTF? That type of hair needs to remain in cheesy anime.

No offense to anyone who like anime... just my opinion though. But if you really do take offense please flame me and my casual hair :P

No to pink, purple, blue and red, and what ever stupid emo fag colors I missed.

Yes to cool hair styles, but nothing to extraordinary.

Here's an idea ! What if we irritated FSS enough with the hair thing (not that I don't find it interesting) so that they were to invent story like :Templars and all characters that can wear helmets need to shave religiously to keep the neural link working without a hitch; and, in so doing, erase all of the hair options from the character creation screen :D ?

Imagine a legion of bald templars, male and female, taking their baldness induced frustration out on the demons. Every character in multiplayer would be completely bald and thus be able to have scalp tattoos and stuff. Of course, every npc must have beautifully rendered hair, just to spite you :D

That'd be so funny, I wouldn't even get mad or anything.

Edit Typo

I think the helmet hair reflects the reality... I mean you know, like where in the fucking hell would they get all the hair product required to even make their hair look retarded. Cool hair is fine... but my guy is going shaved head and scarred, the cool way.

I wouldn't really like too many anime influences in this game. It's already spilled over into every other RPG in this industry.

Kinda reminds of soap operas. A female character would go through explosions, trotting in the sewers, swim in puke and not bathe for a week and still have good hyigiene, next to perfect hair and undisturbed make-up. Please.

Wouldn't be too sexy otherwise. It's a small price to pay for hot actress viewing pleasure.

I'm actually for anime hair. The hair styles in games like Oblivion is dead boring. Some of the morrowind mods added really cool hairstyles. However, there's a limit though. Hair's like dragonball etc are out of the equation. The character class must be suited for the style. Templars and Cabalists doesn't seem suited for cool anime hair.

I think games like HGL should just forget about the anime stuff. Being gritty, messy and overall bad hair just adds to the atmosphere.

Imagine a Templar female walking down a street which is completely demolished, on fire and infested by demons. Everything is charred and covered in ashes. She has giant purple hair that have spikes bigger than her sword, her eyes are as big as dinner plates. WTF?

You're describing a type of anime style, there. Most anime isn't like that. Check out Blood+

Never really bothered at looking at anime... when all the kids my age were into Transformers and that I never got into it. Time was spent playing Shogo and Half-Life :p
