Want a demon of your very own? Take those two definitions, stir in a fat helping of horrible and toss your doughy demonling into an Easy Bake oven of negative energy for a few hours... Presto! Out comes the Fetid Hulk. This monster is one of Hellgate's brainless brutes and he's as noxious as he is strong. Yum-yum, tasty!

The initial concepts of the Hulk were a bit too lanky for Flagship's taste. But like many folks, our boy the Fetid one grew fatter as he got older.

"Standing over twelve feet in height, the Fetid Hulk walks upright on two legs, their long and muscled arms providing some support as they move. This is rarely seen, however, as they are usually encountered while thundering down blows with gigantic, club-like fists, pummeling their foes into pulp. Although impressive in size, strength and stamina, they are somewhat sluggish and are certainly far from intelligent. Tactics and distance are an adventurer’s two best weapons when fighting these demons.

Special note should be made of the large, glowing sac just below the mouth of the Fetid Hulk. This contains a particularly virulent toxin that is released when the beast feels it is in extreme danger. Should this occur, take every possible precaution to avoid long-term effects."
