This one just came down the pipe from Penny Arcade Expo last week. “Microsoft Xbox and Games” blog Gamerscore posted up its 30th blogcast, an audio interview offering a number of conversations with developers of assorted titles. Starting off the 27-minute .mp3 is none other than Tricia Gray.
We don’t usually do interviews, but hopefully these are entertaining. I got the chance to speak to:
* Tricia Gray (Hellgate London) - Details of Hellgate London, Why the savior of the world has to pay for armor, Halloween, and mustaches (ok, so it’s not that informative, but we had a good time!)
Gaming magazine MaximumPC has published a list of eleven games that they say will “bring your system to it’s knees” in its October issue. These are all DirectX 10 games and one that is listed is Hellgate: London.
While there is a small blurb on the actual game and it’s use of DX10, the main interest is the large ads they produced especially for the magazine.
One is a side ad while the other is a huge two-page spread. Interesting to note that some of the map lines make up sentences while some take random words of torment as well as monster names from the game.
Thanks heaps to Hellgate Guru forumer ScytheNoire for uploading the scans.
Angelace has posted up a new exclusive screenshot of Hellgate: London to mark the launch of a new Caption Contest.

GameTrailers has updated their website with two new videos which are narrated by Bill Roper. The first video shows off the Cabalist and the Millenium Battle quest while the second video shows off the new Angel Passage quest using the engineer.
There is also talk of how items are rated based on just a number and an equation done by FSS, while there is also additional information for those who want it.
There is a lot of gameplay footage so go ahead and download the videos which are available in both normal and high definition versions.
While the official Hellgate London website pre-order page still says the old “while we want to pre-order too, we haven’t made details of it yet” message. The official Alpha website has updated their pre-order link which now takes you over to the EA store.
While there is no Collectors Edition up at the EA store yet, at least we have an Official price and box cover on the normal edition as EB is not an official partner of FSS so their info may not be correct.
Bladi from inHellgate.de has just informed us that they posted up their videos from the Games Convention.
There is a one hour long interview where Bill talked to various fansite admins, mainly the inHellgate ones, and answers a whole variety of questions about gameplay, future of the game, quests and so on.
The other video is twenty three minutes long and has a lot of gameplay, the booth as well as a smaller interview (which is in German).
